Diario semiserio dei primi due giorni di accoglienza di un bambino ucraino nella nostra classe…
Non voglio banalizzare la situazione dalla quale questo bambino, insieme alla sua famiglia, è fuggito…Vorrei solo condividere una partenza faticosa ma allo stesso tempo stimolante di questa nuova avventura…
Un martedì mattina qualunque in una qualsiasi scuola italiana. Un’applicata di segreteria chiama me e la mia collega di matematica per comunicarci che a breve sarebbe arrivata una bambina ucraina nella nostra scuola e dovevamo decidere dove inserirla. Dopo una riflessione di pochi secondi decidiamo subito quale sarà la sua classe.
Un mercoledì pomeriggio qualunque in una qualsiasi scuola italiana (parte prima). L’applicata di segreteria ci comunica che il bambino (sì, avete letto bene bambinO) arriverà l’indomani mattina…Va benissimo, rispondo io… Dopo essermi fatta ripetere per bene tre volte il nome e il cognome, decido di scriverlo per non dimenticarlo (cosa che accade lo stesso)…
Un mercoledì pomeriggio qualunque in una qualsiasi scuola italiana (parte seconda). Informo i bambini che l’indomani mattina sarebbe arrivato il loro nuovo compagno…Dopo il primo momento di smarrimento (ma non era una bambina?), i bambini sono partiti in quarta… Prepariamo qualcosa per accoglierlo… Tempera, fogli, colla, pennelli…
Giovedì mattina qualunque in una qualsiasi scuola italiana. Finalmente arriva il nuovo alunno…Un capannello di bambini lo accoglie salutandolo in maniera affettuosa e l’unica risposta che abbiamo ricevuto è stata un “CIAO”.
Dopo il primo momento di smarrimento (il bambino non parla una parola di italiano), abbiamo iniziato a fare qualcosa che potesse aiutarlo a sentirsi “a casa”. Tutti i bambini, a turno, gli hanno chiesto qualcosa… Nessuna risposta…Cosa fare? In nostro aiuto è arrivato google translate (a proposito, google santo subito!)… Facciamo merenda fuori (distanziati come normativa Covid prevede) e subito dopo i bambini vogliono giocare… Sì, ma a cosa? Google, anche in questo caso, viene in nostro soccorso…E dopo pochissimo tutta la classe si è messa a correre e giocare insieme, come se fossero amici da sempre.
I bambini sono bambini… Ed in fin dei conti: “Siamo sempre lo straniero di qualcun altro. Imparare a vivere insieme è lottare contro il razzismo” (Tahar Ben Jelloun).
